What and Why

The Autumn Council is a loose affiliation of men and women of action, founded on the principal that as there are secret forces in the world trying to do harm there should be someone to counter that.  As such, the original Autumn Council was founded with the idea of meeting every year in the fall to bring tales of their own activities, the reconnaissance on their secret adversaries, and the latest equipment and tecniques in their various fields of study.  Be it Nazis in Germany, Zombie Cults in New Orleans, Devil Worshippers in D.C., or Yakuza claiming the shipping channels, they discuss the things that the typical authorities seem inadequate to handle.

Where and When

It's 1939...You are not the founders, but you are their proteges and new inductees from the past couple of years, brought together to perform investigations handed down from the elders of the council.  You cold end up going anywhere in the world to handle the problems you handle.

Who and How

The source for this game is Amazing Adventures, based on the 5th Edition mechanics of D&D.  BEWARE:  The original Amazing Adventures was built on a different system (The "Seige" Engine, as it was called) and so there are versions of this game floating around that are not the version we're using.  Here's the book.  For more information, go here.
